The response to our Preserving our Heritage Campaign has been fantastic. As of Easter we have commitments of $61,310 towards our goal of $87,000. Even better we have $35,225 all ready paid so....

Phase 1 began on March 28. Rotted T-111 is being replaced (left picture) with exterior plywood and then in the second picture the new sidings is going up. We will be planning a painting party soon since the new material is primed but not painted. Which means we need to decide on a color. Check out the display in the parish hall and cast your ballot. There are 6 color choices to pick from. We will paint a section of the paneling with the top two colors and have a final vote.

Window installation is scheduled for mid April. We also plan to move up the roof replacement over the administration wing.

In September of 2015 our vestry charged the Property and Grounds Commission with divising a 5 year plan to address the needs of our physical plant which is now between 50 and 30 years old depending on which part of the building we are looking at. They met every two weeks from September through January and produced the report that was presented on Feb. 20. To download a PDF copy of the powerpoint presentation please CLICK HERE.

Over the next 5 years we plan to spend a little under $90,000 to replace windows, repair and replace the old siding with new siding guaranteed for 50 years and update our lighting to more energy efficient LED lights. Along with roofing, and painting this will refurbish the exterior and most of the interior.

Now is the chance for the parish to responed and help raise the funds needed. We urge all of our members to prayerfully consider a commitment to this program for the next five years. Click here for the pledge card.
