VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
July 15 - 18
PAUL'S DANGEROUS JOURNEY TO TELL THE TRUTH
From July 15-18 our young people heard the story of St. Paul as he traveled to spread the good news of the Gospel to the whole world. There was a lot of singing and dancing as well as a recreation of a marketplace in ancient Athens. In the marketplace children watched pottery being made and then made their own pots. Every night they would visit Paul in his tent making shop and hear about how Paul was spreading the gospel and what it means to us today as well.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Wilderness Escape: Where God Guides and Provides

Over 50 children joined our volunteers for our Vacation Bible School this year.

They learned about Moses and the Exodus story.

GODLPLAY
At St. Aidan's we use the Godly Play curriculum for our youngest students. We have expanded the program up through grade 5. Godly Play focuses on teaching our children the basic Bible stories through creative story telling that uses a set of manipulatives. The children are then encouraged to respond to the stories by re-telling the story using the manipulatives or though art. The program is a Montessori based program.
We also have an excellent Children's Choir. Please visit our Music Ministry page for more information.
Youth 6th grade and up please visit our Youth Page.

CHILDREN'S CHAPEL

During the first part of our 10:30 service our youngest children go to the chapel for a time of instruction geared to their age group while the readings and the sermon are occuring in the main church. Children return to their parents at the Peace so they can participate fully in our Communion Service.

FAMILIES MAKE ADVENT CALENDAR

On Sunday November 24 we had an intergenerational Sunday school event where we made Advent calendars. We cut up old Christmas Cards and then assembled them. One small card for each day with a date on the front and something on the inside.
