PHYSICAL WELLNESS
TAI CHI
We will be launching our first few programs in mid October with Tai Chi classes offered on Tuesdays from 6:15-7:15 in the evening. Participants are then welcome to stay for our Centering Prayer program that runs from 7:30-8:30 in the chapel. Cost is $10 per session and will meet in the parish hall. Click here to learn more about Bending Tree.
KETTLEBELLS
Kettlebells is an exercise program using hand weights and set to music. The program will provide exercise classes to individuals who want to improve their overall fitness and health. Classes will be geared to all fitness levels, so that each participant can advance and perform each exercise to their own bodies' specifics and limitations. The class meets Thursdays from 5:45-6:45. Cost is $10 per class. You can also buy a punch card for $45 for 5 or $80 for 10 classes.

SPIRITUAL WELLNESS
Centering Prayer
We offer a Centering Prayer group that meets every Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30 in our chapel. All are welcome to drop in any Tuesday to experience the quiet of this type of meditation.
EMOTIONAL WELLNESS
We offer counseling through Tidewater pastoral counseling. There are two licensed pastoral counselors who come on Tuesday and Wednesday. Appointments can be made by calling Tidewater Pastoral Counseling at 757-623-2700. Tidewater Pastoral Counseling is an independent group and is not a entity of St. Aidan's.
More to come
The Wellness Center is just starting and I have several people with great ideas for how we can promote wellness in our own church as well as in the greater community. If you would like to get involved with the development of the Center, please email The Rev. Mark Wilkinson.
