MUSIC OPPORTUNITIES AT ST. AIDAN’S!- A Quick Overlook
The people of St. Aidan’s make a joyful noise in many ways, with senior and junior choirs and two bell choirs. The youth and senior Bells of St. Aidan’s are ably led by Kari Jacobs. As our Director of Music, Jamie Dougherty leads both vocal choirs and plays the organ.
For adults/Older Teens:
Bells of St. Aidan’s rehearses Wed. 6:30 – 7:45 PM play on 3rd Sundays
Senior Choir rehearses Wed. 8:00- 9:30 PM sing all but 2nd Sun.
For Teens: (Gr. 7 – 12)
Joyful Bells rehearses Wed. 5:30 – 6:30 PM plays on 3rd Sundays
Teen Choir, Guitar ministry, Instrumental Accompanying TBA according to need and interest
For Children:
Junior Choir (Gr. 2 – 6) rehearses Wed. 6:30 – 7:30 sing on 2nd Sundays
Senior Choir: Contributes to worship at 10:30 services. No formal musical training necessary. We’ll work around your busy schedule. We’re a group that loves to sing (and laugh) together.
Junior Choir: An opportunity for children to actively participate in worship services, learn the music of the Episcopal Church and make life-long church friends. Opportunities for choirchime and Orff instrument playing for all members. Weekly snacks/Holiday goodies.
Bells of St. Aidan’s: A four-octave handbell choir whose dedicated ringers contribute to 10:30 worship once each month.
Joyful Bells: The place for St. Aidan’s teens to be on Wed. evenings! Ring and enjoy the camaraderie of new and old friends.
Teen Choir, Guitar ministry, Instrumental accompanying: Just let Mrs. Dougherty know what and how much you want to do!
